Grants.gov accepts applications straight from an approved system, so once your enrollment is live your packet is filed from here and you get the tracking number back. SAM.gov and the state portals do not accept submissions from outside — for those, CivicSignal pulls the live notice, builds the complete package, and keeps the record of what you filed and when.

Grants.gov

DIRECT SUBMISSION

The federal grant system. With System-to-System access your application package is transmitted straight to Grants.gov and you get back a tracking number, exactly as if you had used Workspace.

Files your package through the system itself and returns a tracking number.

What you need: Requires an active SAM.gov registration, an Authorized Organization Representative, and approved System-to-System enrollment with Grants.gov. Enrollment is granted by Grants.gov, not by us.

SAM.gov

LIVE DATA

The federal contract opportunity system. Your API key lets the agent pull live solicitations, attachments and deadlines directly instead of scraping. SAM.gov does not accept proposals through an API — bids go to the issuing agency's method named in the notice.

Pulls live opportunities and attachments. No submission API exists on this system.

What you need: Requires an active SAM.gov entity registration and a personal API key.

FedConnect

PACKAGE HANDOFF

Used by several federal agencies for solicitation response. Submission is done in FedConnect's own portal; CivicSignal assembles the complete response package and tracks it once you have filed.

GSA eBuy

For GSA Schedule holders responding to RFQs. Quotes are filed inside eBuy; CivicSignal builds the priced response and keeps the record.

Unison Marketplace

Reverse-auction marketplace used by federal buyers. Bids are placed in Unison; the package comes from here.

State or local eProcurement
